Orange County has partnered with Point and Pay LLC to offer credit card, debit card and E-checks as payment solutions. There is a charge to the taxpayer which is retained by Point and Pay LLC for the use of its automated services.
For many VISA Debit Cards, this convenience fee is a flat fee of $3.95. For other debit and all credit card transactions, the convenience fee is 2.5% of the transaction amount (with a minimum of $2.00).
For EChecks the convenience fee is a flat fee of $2.00.
The convenience fee is separate from your property tax amount, and Orange County does not receive any portion of the fee.
